These nudge you toward each group without giving it away. Groups run easiest to hardest: 🟡 Yellow → 🟢 Green → 🔵 Blue → 🟣 Purple.
The four words are GULAB JAMUN, JALEBI, RASGULLA, BARFI. The connection is North Indian Sweets.
The four words are MYSORE PAK, PAYASAM, KESARI, ADHIRASAM. The connection is South Indian Sweets.
The four words are RAS MALAI, CHAM CHAM, MALPUA, SONDESH. The connection is East Indian Sweets.
The four words are MOHANTHAL, SHRIKHAND, BASUNDI, KAJU KATLI. The connection is West Indian Sweets — the hardest group, usually a twist or piece of wordplay.
Every JodDo puzzle uses the same colour ladder: Yellow is the easiest and most obvious Indian reference, Green needs a little knowledge, Blue is a trickier category, and Purple is the hardest — often an unexpected twist or a pun. There's usually one "trap" word that looks like it belongs in two groups; spotting it is half the fun.
